As an Actor and Comedian myself, I understand that it can be nerve wracking to get your picture taken. I have spoken to many outgoing individuals who say that they “just aren’t photogenic”… Well, in a comfortable environment where the photographer isnt counting down the minutes or the exposures, with the right direction, I promise you that you will be.
The portraits here are of actors and performers, but if you need anything from art for your walls to portraits of your pet turtle, chances are I can accommodate you here
There is much variety in looks and personality but the goal with each and every one of these shots was the same: To translate the Actor’s personality into the headshot. No one was asked to pretend she’s a tiger. No one has her prom hair on. Not one person is standing in a waterfall. Headshots. We want a picture that represents the Actor walking into the room on their best day.
To get different aspects of your personality to shine through we match the background, wardrobe, makeup, light, and composition to your look. You’ll find examples of this below, among different performers, and also in different looks for the same person.
The session is kept light, fun, and relaxed. If youre comfortable it shows in the pictures (Many of these smiles are real!).
